Bernafon TV-Adapter 2

The Bernafon TV Adapter 2 is designed to be used to enhance your TV experience in conjunction with Bernafon SoundGate (compatible with SoundGate 2 and SoundGate 3) and your Bernafon hearing aids. The adapter only needs to be paired once with your SoundGate, and then you can hear the sound from your TV directly in your hearing aids. This way, you can enjoy watching your favorite TV shows with superb sound quality without compromising your comfort. The range of up to 30 meters allows you to leave the room where your TV is located without losing the signal. So, taking a quick trip to the kitchen to grab some snacks for the movie, for example, becomes easy and effortless, as you don’t have to pause the movie or worry about missing anything. You can also connect the adapter to your stereo system as an alternative to your TV and hear the best possible sound directly in your hearing aids. Real-time transmission from the adapter ensures that the sound from your TV is transmitted directly, so you won’t be bothered by delayed audio that diminishes your TV experience. If you desire a completely uninterrupted TV experience, with Bernafon TV Adapter 2, you have the option to use the silent mode. By using this mode, you can turn off the microphones in your hearing aids, so only the sound from the television is heard. You can easily do this by pressing and holding the ‘volume up’ or ‘volume down’ button for 2-3 seconds until you hear a confirming beep in your hearing aids. The microphones are now turned off, and you will exclusively hear the TV sound.

Similarly, you can use the volume buttons on the SoundGate to adjust the TV’s volume in your hearing aids. Simply adjust the volume by briefly pressing ‘up’ or ‘down.’ You can, of course, also stop the audio transmission from the TV Adapter 2 by briefly pressing the TV or audio button on your SoundGate. With the SelectMe function, you have the option to connect and use multiple TV adapters at the same time. Using this function, you can, for example, connect an adapter in the living room and one in your bedroom simultaneously. This only requires that you have either SoundGate 2 or SoundGate 3 and that your SoundGate is programmed with the latest firmware version. Here’s how it works:

Start by connecting your Bernafon TV Adapter 2 to your TV and connecting the device to a power source. Then, simply connect the TV Adapter 2 using the solution that suits you best. You can connect the adapter to your TV in four different ways*:

1. TOSLINK (with Dolby® Digital option)
2. RCA audio
3. Mini-jack
4. SCART audio
