Why use an Oticon drying cup?

Moisture can collect on hearing aids during everyday use from humidity, perspiration and temperature changes. Regular drying can help keep your hearing aids dry and support reliable daily performance.

The Oticon drying cup is made for use with Oticon drying capsules. Simply place a drying capsule in the cup and add the hearing aids or suitable removable parts. The cup then provides a convenient place to store and dry them when they are not in use.

How to use the Oticon Drying Cup

1. Open the drying cup: make sure the inside of the cup is clean and dry.
2. Add a drying capsule: place one suitable Oticon drying capsule in the bottom of the cup.
3. Place your hearing aids in the cup: put the hearing aids or suitable removable hearing aid parts inside.
4. Close the cup: leave the devices in the closed cup while they are not in use, for example overnight.
5. Replace the drying capsule when needed: follow the instructions supplied with the capsules to know when a new one is required.

For best results, clean visible dirt and earwax from the hearing aids with a cleaning wipe before placing them in the drying cup. Drying is intended to complement regular cleaning, not replace it.
