Oticon Toslink Cable for TV Adapter

The Oticon Toslink Cable is an original replacement optical audio cable for compatible Oticon TV Adapters.

It connects the TV Adapter to a television, home cinema system or other audio source with a digital optical output, allowing the TV Adapter to receive the audio signal for wireless transmission to compatible hearing aids or streamers.

This cable is compatible with:

• Oticon TV Adapter 3.0
• Oticon ConnectLine TV Adapter 2.0

It is the same type of optical Toslink cable supplied with these TV Adapter systems.

Digital optical audio connection

Toslink uses an optical digital signal rather than a traditional analogue audio connection. It is a practical choice when your television or audio source has an optical digital audio output.

On Oticon TV Adapter 3.0, the cable connects from the optical output on the TV or audio source to the TOSLINK input on the adapter.

Compatibility

The Oticon Toslink Cable is intended for Oticon TV Adapter 3.0 and Oticon ConnectLine TV Adapter 2.0, together with TVs or audio sources equipped with a compatible optical digital audio output.

If your television does not have a Toslink output, a different connection method such as RCA or a compatible analogue audio connection may be required.

How to connect the cable

1. Remove the protective caps from both ends of the Toslink cable.
2. Connect one end to the optical output on your TV or audio source.
3. Connect the other end to the TOSLINK input on the Oticon TV Adapter.
4. Make sure the cable is fully inserted without forcing the connector.

If there is no sound after connection, check the digital audio output settings on your TV or audio source.
