Power Dome for HP Receiver
This Power Dome is designed for compatible ReSound, Beltone and Interton RIE hearing aids using the older HP receiver system.
Its double-dome construction creates a more closed fit in the ear canal than a standard open dome. This helps retain more amplified sound and makes the dome suitable for fittings where a stronger acoustic seal is required.
Available sizes
The Power Dome is available in three sizes:
- Small: 5 mm
- Medium: 7 mm
- Large: 10 mm
If you are replacing an existing dome, choose the same size and dome type unless your hearing care professional has recommended a different fitting.
Strong acoustic seal
The double-dome design provides more sealing than an open dome and helps reduce sound leakage from the ear canal.
This type of fitting is commonly used with higher-power receiver configurations where more amplified sound needs to remain in the ear.
Changing from an open or tulip-style dome to a power dome can alter the sound and acoustic response of the hearing aid. For this reason, use the same dome type already fitted unless your hearing care professional recommends a change.

Compatibility
These Power Domes are intended for selected ReSound, Beltone and Interton RIE hearing aids using the older HP receiver system.
They should not be confused with domes for NP, S or HP2 receivers. These receiver systems use different dome types or connection sizes.
If you are unsure which receiver generation is fitted to your hearing aid, compare the current dome and receiver before ordering.
When should the dome be replaced?
Check the dome regularly for earwax, damage, hardening or discolouration. Replace it when it becomes blocked, worn, loose or no longer attaches securely to the receiver. If the hearing aid sounds weak or muffled even though the dome looks clean, also check the wax filter and receiver for blockage.
How to replace the dome
- Gently remove the old dome from the receiver.
- Check the receiver and wax filter for earwax or damage.
- Select a new Power Dome in the same size.
- Push it firmly onto the receiver connection.
- Check that the dome is securely attached before placing the hearing aid in your ear.
