Rayovac Size 10 hearing aid batteries

Rayovac size 10 batteries provide power for hearing aids designed to use the standard size 10 format.

The yellow colour code makes them easy to distinguish from other common hearing aid battery sizes such as 13, 312 and 675.

Zinc-air technology

Rayovac hearing aid batteries use zinc-air technology. The battery remains inactive while the protective tab is attached and begins to activate once the tab is removed and oxygen reaches the cell.

Rayovac recommends allowing the battery to air for around one minute after removing the tab before inserting it into the hearing aid.

How to activate a zinc-air battery

1. Remove the protective tab from the new battery.
2. Allow it to air for approximately one minute.
3. Insert the battery into the hearing aid with the polarity positioned correctly.
4. Close the battery compartment carefully.

Once the tab has been removed, the battery begins to activate and cannot be returned to its original inactive state.

• Store unused batteries in their original packaging at room temperature.
• Keep loose batteries away from coins, keys and other metal objects.
• Keep hearing aid batteries out of reach of children and pets.
