ActiveVent MAV Receiver includes a built-in ventilation system combined with a small disk that can be moved between two positions: open and closed. A reassuring click signals that the disk has changed position.
When the disk is in the open position, ambient sounds can pass through, providing high listening comfort. Therefore, in quiet environments, the ventilation opening will remain open, allowing natural sound.

In challenging listening situations or during media streaming, the disk moves to the closed position, blocking direct entry of ambient sounds into the ear. Sound then exclusively passes through the hearing aid, enhancing the speech signal.
All of this is controlled by the software in the hearing aids (AutoSense OS 4.0).
