The Beltone 312 battery is a disposable zinc-air battery for hearing aids designed to use size 312 batteries.

Size 312 is identified by the standard brown colour code, making it easier to distinguish from other common hearing aid battery sizes such as 10, 13 and 675.

Reliable zinc-air power

Like most disposable hearing aid batteries, the Beltone 312 uses zinc-air technology. The battery remains inactive while the protective tab is in place and begins to activate once the tab is removed and air reaches the battery.

For this reason, only remove the protective tab when you are ready to use the battery.

Important information about zinc-air batteries

Zinc-air batteries are activated by oxygen. Once the protective tab has been removed, the battery begins to activate and cannot be returned to its inactive state.

After removing the tab, allow the battery a short moment to activate before placing it in the hearing aid. Make sure the positive and negative sides are positioned correctly inside the battery compartment.

Tips for hearing aid batteries

• Keep the protective tab in place until you need the battery.
• Store unused batteries at normal room temperature in a dry place.
• Do not store loose batteries together with coins, keys or other metal objects.
• Keep batteries out of reach of children and pets.
• Replace the battery when your hearing aid gives a low-battery warning or stops working reliably.
