ReSound 10 Battery

ReSound Size 10 hearing aid batteries

These disposable zinc-air batteries provide power for hearing aids designed to use the standard size 10 format.

Size 10 batteries are identified by their yellow colour code, making them easy to distinguish from common alternatives such as size 13, 312 and 675.

Zinc-air technology

The batteries use zinc-air chemistry and remain inactive while the protective tab is attached. Once the tab is removed, oxygen enters the battery and starts the activation process.

Only remove the tab when you are ready to use a battery, as the activation process cannot be reversed.

Features

• Yellow colour coding for easy identification
• Mercury-free zinc-air chemistry

Compatibility

These batteries can be used with hearing aids designed for standard size 10 zinc-air batteries.

How to activate a zinc-air battery

1. Remove the protective tab from the new battery.
2. Allow the battery a short moment to activate in the air.
3. Insert it into the hearing aid with the polarity positioned correctly.
4. Close the battery compartment carefully.

If the battery compartment does not close easily, check the battery orientation rather than forcing it.
