GN Green Microphone filter

GN Green Microphone Filter

The GN green microphone filter is a replacement microphone protection filter for compatible ReSound Varia hearing aids.

The filter sits over the microphone opening and acts as a barrier against dust, dirt and other particles that could otherwise build up around the microphone and interfere with sound pickup.

Helps protect the hearing aid microphone

The microphones on a hearing aid need clear openings to pick up surrounding sounds correctly. Over time, everyday exposure to dust, skin particles and moisture can affect the filter covering the microphone port.

Replacing a dirty or blocked filter helps keep the microphone opening clear and supports consistent sound pickup.

Compatibility

This microphone filter is intended for compatible ReSound Varia hearing aids using the corresponding green microphone filter system. GN has used different microphone filters across different hearing aid generations, so this filter should only be used when it matches the filter specified for your hearing aid.

When should the microphone filter be replaced?

Check the filter regularly and replace it if it becomes visibly dirty, blocked or damaged, or if the hearing aid begins to sound weaker or less clear.

The replacement interval can vary depending on daily use, moisture and the environment in which the hearing aid is worn.
