Why Choose Bernafon SpiraFlex Domes
There are five different types of Bernafon Domes. The choice of dome alters the sound characteristics.
Open Domes:
The open domes are suitable for those who do not want a closed-off feeling in the ear canal and occlusion. These domes ensure significant ventilation in the ear canal. Used for mild to moderate amplification needs.
Closed Domes with Small or Large Ventilation:
The closed domes provide a more intense sound experience as they seal off the ear more. This effectively prevents the hearing aids from whistling, as amplified sounds cannot escape from the ear canal. The closed domes have a ventilating effect, equipped with one or two ventilation holes depending on whether you want ample or limited ventilation. Thus, you will experience a free and ventilated sensation and an intense sound experience. Typically used for moderate to severe hearing loss or when bass reinforcement is a priority.
Tulip Domes:
The tulip dome has a tapering tip shape and combines properties from both the closed and open dome. It provides ventilation in the ear canal while delivering a more intense sound experience.
Power Domes:
Power domes provide the most intense sound experience. They feature two seals that ensure a good fit and effectively eliminate other noises. Power domes are the least ventilating domes and offer the most occluded sensation.
